Abigail Garratt, CD(DONA): Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada; I became a Certified Birth Doula with DONA International in a few months after completing my training. I have began the process of Postpartum Doula Certification with DONA International. My work as a Doula is a great passion, I love what I do! A true advocate for the childbirth experience as a beautiful life changing event and a deep belief to ensure a doula for every woman who wants one. Abigail is always interested in continuing education, recently she attended Kangaroo Mother Care with Nils Bergman, Waterbithing with Barbara Harper, Midwifery Assistant Training at The Farm by Ina May Gaskin & The Farm Midwives. Abigail has experienced births in hospitals (big and small), birth centre, & home births.
